Always follow the sewn-in care label for your specific garment. It takes priority over this general guide.

Before washing

Separate colours and check the garment’s label for temperature, drying and ironing instructions. Close any fastenings and avoid washing delicate pieces with abrasive items.

Keep it gentle

Where the label permits, use a gentle cycle and mild detergent. Avoid bleach and high heat unless the garment label specifically allows them.

Between wears

Let clothing air and dry completely before storing it. Do not leave damp pieces in a gym bag for long periods.
